Future Bright is an initiative aimed at helping businesses and employees realise their full potential.
Future Bright Lunchtime Workshop
Tuesday 7th May 12.00-1.00pm In the boardroom
The aim of this lunchtime session is to introduce you to three projects:
Chris Mitchell will talk briefly about Future Bright. This pilot project can help small employers to train their staff ready for promotion and new projects. It helps eligible staff by providing a budget of £780 per person to train them or remove barriers which prevent them from working for longer times.
Dave Werrett will talk about Disability Confident. It is an award which most employers can gain relatively quickly. With fairly full employment in the Bristol area, there is a large untapped resource of people with disabilities, many with excellent skills who can do a huge range of work. The Disability Confident badge shows them that you are open to considering their applications.
Jess Goble will talk about the Living Wage Foundation.
Tenants of Filwood Green
